PETER FACINELLI :: BIOGRAPHY
Peter Facinelli grew up in Ozone Park, Queens, New York, in a family with a rich Italian-American heritage. He attended one year at St. Johns University, and originally pursued a degree in law, but he did not become interested in acting until after he started college. He studied acting at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York City; his teachers there included William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, Giancarlo Esposito, and Camryn Manheim. He modeled to put himself through college when he was 18 to 20, but it's not something he likes to talk about.

Facinelli met his wife, Jennie Garth, on the set of An Unfinished Affair, a 1996 made-for-TV movie. They married on January 20, 2001. His wife was converted to the Roman Catholic faith, so that she and Peter could have a Roman Catholic Nuptial Mass. They currently have three daughters together. He welcomed their first child, Luca Bella, in 1997, their second daughter, Lola Ray (7 lbs. 7 oz., 18 inches), on December 6, 2002, and their third child, Fiona Eve Facinelli (7 lbs. 8 oz.), on September 30, 2006. He currently coaches his daughters’ soccer and baseball teams. When working, Peter tries to visit his family every two weeks. He video chats with them every night through Skype.

Facinelli's was in Hollow Man 2, which co-stars Christian Slater. It was released direct-to-video in 2006. He can also be seen in films such as Riding in Cars with Boys, The Scorpion King, and Can't Hardly Wait. In 2004 and 2005, he appeared on the hit HBO show “Six Feet Under” multiple times, playing Jimmy. Facinelli appeared in the film adaptation of the book Twilight and recently finished filming the sequel, New Moon. While filming Twilight, Peter kicked his bad habit of biting his nails. Also, His favorite scene to film in Twilight was the vampire baseball scene. He played baseball in high school and saw it as "reliving the glory days".
