Robert Pattinson Total Film Interview
Total Film held a nice interview with Rob!!!

"Although his part in New Moon may be smaller than fans were hoping for, there's no doubt Robert Pattinson is in the driving seat of the Twilight phenomenon, and standing on the edge of global superstardom.

A year on from our last date, we sat down with the actor on the eve of the release of the Twilight sequel New Moon, to discuss fame, mothers and all things Twilight."

So New Moon takes a similar serious approach to teen love as Twilight?

"I think no one really knew what we were working with when Twilight happened. And because of the in-roads we made in saying it's not going to be a typical teen film or a sappy love story, it does allow us in the second one to have a certain degree of seriousness. Even more so."

Sydney Morning with Robert Pattinson
The Sydney Morning Herald held a brief interview with Edward Cullen actor Robert Pattinson!

"To be honest, I still don't really understand what's going on," he says. "Like yesterday, I was having lunch down the road. We were in this place for a couple of hours and suddenly there was like 400 people outside on the street. It was just so nuts and it's like that all the time now."

"When the second one comes out, then I'll see how I am. Mostly I can ignore things to quite a big extent and kind of pretend they're not really happening," he says, sounding eerily calm.

The real reason Pattinson is so calm is simple: "I'm not the lead in the second film. Taylor [Lautner] is." He grins idiotically. "I appear in Bella's dreams. So I'm in it but the focus is not on me. I just have significant moments at the beginning ... and the end. So I'm more of a supporting role in this one, which is why I felt so free. I didn't have to deal with any of the bullshit of the first one. I don't have to hold the movie or worry about the fans. I think I did it better without all those pressures."

Michael Sheen Talks New Moon
Aro actor Michael Sheen sat down USA today and gave an interview where he talks a little about New Moon!

"I wanted to see how the other half lived," Sheen explains with a grin. "Or unlived."

"The second book captures the utter desolation of losing that first love. I went through that myself, and Stephenie Meyer invokes that brilliantly."

"I like the way director Chris Weitz describes him. On the surface, he is very charming and very warm, sort of likable and soft. But underneath, you get the sense he is a psychopathic killer. I love playing with that idea."

Not a lot, but still exciting! Read the rest here!

New Interview, Pictures, & Behind the Scenes with Kristen Stewart
Interview Magazine writer Dennis Hopperp posted a great new interview with Bella actress Kristen Stewart, where she discusses everything from her appearing in tabloids to her high school graduation!

Here's a little clip:

"HOPPER: Have you been able to enjoy it? Or do you feel more pressure doing these sequels?

STEWART: I do feel more of a pressurized strain than what is typical for me. Usually, what drives you is your own personal responsibility to the script and the character and the people you are working with. But in this case, I have a responsibility not only to that but to everyone who has personal involvement in the books and now that spans the world. It's an insane concept. There are certain things in Twilight . . . As much as I'm proud of that movie and I do like it, I feel like maybe I brought too much of myself to the character. I feel like I really know Bella now. But most readers feel like they know Bella because it's a first-person narrative. She's like a little vessel and everyone experiences the story through her. All of these girls who are fans personally feel like they encapsulate that character. So it's like, How the hell am I going to do that for all of them? It's impossible! But I've decided, if you're just unabashedly honest all of the time, you have nothing to be ashamed of.

HOPPER: These Twilight books have some dark material.

STEWART: You always have to realize that the story needs to make sense to the 11-year-olds who read the book and aren't necessarily going to be viewing a scene as foreplay. But then there is the other segment of the audience -a large percentage- who does see the scene as foreplay. And it's pretty deep, heady foreplay. [laughs] So it's fun to play it both ways. I mean, I don't know what it feels like to make out with my vampire boyfriend because it isn't something that anybody has ever felt. But it's funny to think that a lot of the audience is 10 years old and will maybe one day grow up to realize there are a lot of involved thoughts in Twilight that they didn't see before."

Anna Kendrick @ MTV
Yet another MTV Insider, this time featuring Anna Kendrick!

MTV: What's going on with Jessica in "Eclipse"? Is the role faithful to the character in the book, or are there new scenes that are added that you're excited about?

Kendrick: The thing about playing one of the human characters the non-supernatural characters in the "Twilight" seriess is we have a lot more liberty to make it our own and change things, because people don't have that attachment that they do to the myth of the world that Stephenie Meyer has created, in terms of the supernatural aspect. So we've never really gotten in trouble for straying a little bit. We're having fun. I mean, we're being faithful to the book, but with a few changes. I hope that they're fun.

MTV: Obviously, people like Rob, Kristen and Taylor have exploded since last year's film. Has all that added attention, the paparazzi and whatnot, made it difficult to shoot the sequels?

Kendrick: Thank God people exist that know how to handle that. Because the production has managed to keep out a lot of onlookers, but it's still [problematic]. You know that [the fans are] there, and I think that kinda does affect the way that you feel [while trying to act]. But it's just one of those things you have to get over. I mean, if there are a ton of background actors in a scene, it's the same thing. You just have to tune it out.

Gil Birmingham on his Music
An insider over at Twilight Lexicon interviewed Gil Birmingham at EyeCon this weekend!

"Q: What are the inspirations for your lyrics and music?

My music comes from the emotional place I'm in when I write it. It's an outpouring of the soul of those emotions through the guitar.

What genre does your music generally fit into?

My music is classic rock and blues for the most part.

What is the most challenging work as far as creating a song?

Writing the music, the lyrics, getting it produced? Writing music is not really challenging because it comes from a place of inspiration. It's about connecting with what I'm feeling at the time. When you see me play, you understand that the music comes from my heart. Recording music is more difficult because you have to get a clean cut down without letting the technical aspects of recording get in the way of the creative process.

I have seen you perform a few times and it has always been acoustic. Do you play electric guitar or have any interest in playing with a band? I play both electric and acoustic guitar.

My acoustic music is in the rock genre, but is a more subtle texture of my creative expression. When I play electric guitar, the experience is much more aggressive musically. It's as if I "growl. Could it be the wolf in me? Both provide deep emotional release and healing.

I've played with bands in the past and sit in with some LA bands when I have the opportunity. I'm starting to do some recording and working to put lyrics to some of my songs. I'd love to put a new band together, time allotted. It's something I plan to do in the not so distance future.

Do you play any other instruments?

Just the guitar.

Who are the artists who have influenced you the most?

My greatest influences have been incredible artists like Jim Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck, and Sting.

What is your musical background and how did you come to be a musician? I began playing guitar at age 10. Music was the outlet for some of the discomfort and difficulty in my childhood. Over the years, I've played with several bands and have always played my music. Like acting, it's an expression of my core, and it's an intricate part of my life.

Is there a song you've written that is your favorite?

"A Walk in the Park [you can hear the MP3 file below]is one of my favorites. It came out of a place of challenge and pain. It gives me strength and hope that we can transcend the suffering of the human condition the joy of knowing we can shift our minds to a different vibration and the only thing that's real is love. People have told me the song is mesmerizing. When I play it, they sense the essence of my spiritual state.

What is your favorite band/musician right now?

My musical tastes are so diverse it's difficult to name just one group. Right now I'm enjoying Kings of Leon, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus,, and Switchfoot. Tomorrow, it may be completely new groups.

You will be hosting the NAMA on Oct 3rd what can we expect to see from you as a host?

Hosting is a natural for me. If you've seen my Question and Answer sessions at the conventions, you have an idea of my style. But the NAMMYS show isn't really about me. It's about all the wonderfully talented and creative Native American musicians. It will be a tremendous night, showcasing some of the best musical talent out there today. I am honored to have been asked to host this event, since music is such an important part of my life.

For more of Gil's music, check out his MySpace and his official website. Gil is appearing this weekend in Orlando at Twi-life event."
