"What are the changes in this second installment? Your character Bella takes risks again…

Well, she loses what basically gives her the drive to do anything in her whole life. She loses the man she’s in love with, but she also loses her entire life plan, and she’s so young to have to be forced into a decision like that. It’s just a glorified, elaborate version of the worst breakup you’ve ever been through. All of a sudden you question everything. All of a sudden you know nothing and you’re dropped in the middle of a freezing cold ocean.

Oddly, we have a character that’s warm enough and bright enough to bring her out of that, and it’s truly gut-ripping. Because as perfect as Jacob is for her, she holds on to an ideal, the ultimate fiery love that she has for Edward even though it’s not comfortable, it’s not practical and it’s not a good idea. So it’s really a very strong thing to do. It takes someone who really trusts themselves.

So basically the movie starts out and everything’s great, and then it gets absolutely terrible, and then it gets maybe OK again, and then it’s" no, no, no, no - life is hard." It’s going to get hard again because he comes back again."

Some twilight actors have been dishing "facts and fictions" on People.com about hidden talents, bromances, and even on-set chemistry!

The Twilight Stars recently revealed some key New Moon scenes in an interview with MTV.

It's one of the most anticipated films of 2009 and already has hundreds of fan sites devoted to it. Now, the stars of "New Moon" are revealing details about key scenes from the flick that will surprise even the most die-hard fans.

"There's definitely a difference in scale," marveled Robert Pattinson when we caught up with him recently. "I liked doing 'Twilight,' but it felt very much like an indie movie — and ['New Moon'] definitely feels like it's a big movie."

Nylon has a great new interview with Alice Cullen actress Ashley Greene, where they refer to her as "The Happiest, Perkiest, Cutest girl you'd never expect." She discusses what it's like being famous,

"On the Twilight cast: "We get along really well," she says of her co-stars, who are all confirmed through at least a third movie. "And thank God! Can you imagine going back over and over if we didn't?"

On Rob Pattinson's fame: "Oh God. Poor Rob is already a Beatle. His whole life is documented. If he picks his nose, it's all over the Internet. He's just done for. I think he's kinda freakin' out, like, 'What the **** is going on?"

"You don't want to have your picture taken when you're coming out of a club all wasted. It's tough, I get a call from my mom in the morning, and she says, 'So I see you went out again last night.' I might as well have a GPS chip in my skin, but no, I have the Internet."

As usual, Forbes released their annual "The Year's 10 Fastest Rising Stars" , placing Rob tied at #7!

"Pattinson, tied for seventh place with fellow vampire Anna Paquin of True Blood, has created a teenage heartthrob empire since the release of Twilight in November 2008. The film, whose opening box office earnings were $70 million, played in theaters for over four months. Pattinson has been featured on several magazine covers, including the April 2009 cover of GQ magazine, and is slated to have lead roles in three upcoming films, including the sequel to Twilight in theaters this November."

MetroNews has an awesome new interview with the director of New Moon, Chris Weitz, where he discusses his first reaction to getting the job, the differences between Twilight and New Moon, and more!

"Q. Could you tell us about New Moon and how it’s different from Twilight?
A. I think we get an opportunity to sort of expand our scope -- from the confines of the forest to Italy. Your sense of mythology of this world is deepened so that the story that underlies what was going on in the first movie becomes more and more clear. And there are a lot of secrets that were set up in the first book and the first movie that come to light in the second movie. So there are a lot of surprises in store."
