According to Twilight Lexicon, a new actress has been cast in Eclipse with an unknown role. The actress, Jodelle Ferland, has apparently been cast as a vampire role, although the name of her character is yet to be released.

"Its official! Jodelle has been cast in the Twilight Saga, The 3rd Film, Eclipse! she will playing The Newborn Vampire! We are really excited for her. How so many of you had petitioned for Jodelle to be cast as Jane, and now she gets to work alongside the cast and Dakota Fanning who was cast as Jane for New Moon. AND…It doesnt stop there, Jodelle has also been cast in a new film for 2010, called The Cabin In The Woods its a horror movie and you can find more about the film and its cast at IMDB.com Its hoping to be released in February! So.. a Huge Congrats is in order for Jodelle! 2 great projects that we cannot wait to see, Jodelle was super excited about sharing the news about Twilight, and we are pleased as she definately deserved this role. "I caught Justin after what sounded like a very long, very intense day as he had just finished an audition for nothing less than one of Shakespear's classics. Obviously this young man has some serious acting chops to even be considered for such a role. But clearly I am not the first to take note of his talent.


Insightful, introspective, humble and damn funny-Justin stood proudly by his days with Nickelodeon noting not many of my fans may even remember me from that, but no matter it was fun and it is all part of the ride. The Twilight Series is taking over people! According to USA Today, the Twilight series has been on the Best Seller's list for the last 12 MONTHS! That's an entire year!

"Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in the teen-vampire romance series, entered the list at No. 1 on Aug. 2, 2008. Its sales and those of Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, the first three books, have remained staggering."

"The Twilight books have stayed in the list's top 10 for 52 consecutive weeks. They held the first four spots a total of 13 weeks in the past year."

Vampires are such versatile symbols now that they can express both conservative and liberal views. Stephenie Meyers Twilight novels are steeped in her Mormon values. But True Blood speaks in part for gays and, as Ball puts it, eight years of institutionalized demonization of pretty much any group that wasn't on the bus with Mr. Bush.

It may come as a surprise to learn that Meyer "reigning queen of pop culture's vampire coven has an uneasy relationship with them. Back in 2003, when she was writing the first draft of Twilight, she refused to show it to her husband. I was embarrassed, she said. It was about vampires. In fact, last year, she told EW that her great wish was to reclaim some time to write something new. Look, Im not just a vampire girl, she said emphatically. I can do other worlds.

New pictures have appreared online of Taylor Lautner and costar Taylor Swift on the set of their newest film, Valentine's Day! The film is all about different individuals in the Las Angeles area, making up and breaking up right in time for Valentine's Day! It looks like the Taylors will be playing each other's love interest in the film - Can't wait until it comes out!

"Taylor Lautner and country superstar Taylor Swift hang out around the Valentines Day set in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon (July 30).

The 17-year-old actor was seen making a high jump on the track and field equipment at a local high school.

Valentines Day follows intertwining couples and singles in Los Angeles who break up and make up based on the pressures and expectations of Valentines Day."
